Weekly Newsletter
- $30 for 3 months -

Monthly Newsletter
- Free -

The weekly newsletter provides long term investing and short term trading solutions.  Long term investing is covered with trend following portfolios.

For short term traders, the newsletter lists specific options contracts.  A short term strategy of entering long stock positions for call option candidates and short stock positions for put option candidates is quite successful.  See the table below.  Profits for trending stocks typically increase with longer holding periods.

In sideways volatile markets a short term Trading in Volatile Markets Portfolio (TIVM) is available.  Trades may last anywhere froma few hours to a month.  Most trades are completed within two weeks.

The monthly newsletter selects stocks that are suitable for investment and for options trading.  Industries are ranked according to whether they are leading, lagging, fastest rising and fastest falling.

This newsletter uses Top-Down stock selection.   Trades include domestic and international companies, currencies and bonds.

A number of tips are offered, such as,  details for selecting actual candidates based on prevailing market conditions.  This newsletter is free for as long as you wish to receive it.

Short Term Trading in a Trending Market

A template for short term trading in a trending market is described in the weekly newsletter. While it is unlikely that you would have made every trade since February 2008, if you followed the template, your short term profits as a percentage of initial risk capital would have been:

Options for 7 Weeks

Weekly Trading

6% Average Profit

44% winning trades

Total of 18 trades

Profit excluding fees 11%

Stocks for 7 Weeks

Weekly Trading

5% Average Profit

56% winning trades

Total of 18 trades

Profit excluding fees 9%

Results assume using 10% of risk capital per trade and rigorously following entry and exit guidelines.  This is not a typical short term advisory that tells you when to buy and sell. The market has been too volatile for that. Rather, the weekly newsletter provides a template for whether or not to trade any of the 8 candidates provided each week. Knowing when not to trade is as important as pulling the trigger. When the template was followed, the above results were obtained. You will find this template useful for years to come.
